Palmerston North's Mayor, Heather Tanguay, has applauded Toll for retaining the Wellington to Auckland Overlander train service. Toll announced yesterday that the service would continue to run but only on Friday, Saturday and Sunday however it would revert to seven days a week from December to Easter then return to the thrice weekly service.
